    Tuesday – Two important things: Don’t forget to vote and PZB meeting will be at 2pm

    This coming Tuesday (11/6) is going to be a full day. It’s election day, so don’t forget to vote! It’s also the November meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board, at which there is a request to change the zoning of 125 Marine Street from RS-1 to RL-1.     OCSNA Fall General Neighborhood Mtg. postponed to Tuesday, 10/23 @ the Galimore Ctr. 6pm – 8pm

    The Fall General Neighborhood Mtg. originally scheduled for this Thursday night, 10/18,  has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict at the Galimore Center. The new date for the meeting will be Tuesday, 10/23. The doors will open at 5:55pm. There will be a Q & A Forum with SAPD Chief Barry Fox from 6:05 to 7pm concerning, crime, homelessness, policing and other police related matters.     Possible prowler in the neighborhood

    Virginia and Bruce Maguire of 297 St. George report suspicious activity around their property in the middle of the night, 2 nights ago. Virginia noticed that a back porch light which had been lighting properly every night was not lighting. The light bulb was a long life LED lightbulb which had been changed 2 months before and had been working up until two night ago. When Bruce checked on the light yesterday, he found that the lightbulb had been unscrewed, and that the lightbulb worked fine once it had been screwed back in.     OCS Spring Potluck Picnic Postponed to Next Saturday Because of Rain

    OCS Neighbors: Due to imminent thunderstorm activity predicted for tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon, we’re postponing the OCS Spring Potluck Picnic. But have no fear! Next weekend the weather looks good for both days. We’ll picnic next week!!     Get ready to grill! The 3rd Annual Spring Neighborhood Picnic is just around the corner!

    OCS Neighbors, The 3rd Annual Spring Neighborhood Picnic is just around the corner. This year it’s going to be held at Bruce and Virginia Maguire’s house (297 St. George) from 4pm to 6pm next Sunday. There will be a lot of old hands, but some new faces as well, as a number of new families have moved into the neighborhood. Come and hang out with your neighborhors!     Great Q & A forum with John Regan and Barry Fox last Wednesday!

    What a great meeting last Wednesday evening! 42 neighbors joined OCSNA at the Corazon Cinema for a spirited question and answer forum with John Regan, City Manager, City of St. Augustine and Barry Fox, Chief of Police, Saint Augustine Police Dept. The agenda was completely driven by neighbors’ questions and the discussion ranged over a number of topics.
